  • We are happy to announce that the Here Comes the Bus app is now active for Cumberland County Schools.  The app is a helpful way to find out what your child's bus number is, what the bus stop location is, and the location of your child's bus.  For more information on the app please visit the Here Comes the Bus link on this page.  For instructions on how to download Here Comes the Bus on your phone please visit the Transportation Forms link and select Here Comes the Bus.

    Our Mission:

The CCS Transportation Department works along with our schools to provide transportation for approximately 26,000 students to and from their school each day. We maintain and supervise over 466 buses that travel more than 25,000 miles daily. Seventy-three of these buses are dedicated to transporting more than 1,000 Exceptional Students. These students are transported to over 80 of our 85 schools. Our mission is to provide safe, efficient, and orderly transportation for all eligible students in Cumberland County.
