Professional Development Inclement Weather Protocol
Adopted by Executive Council

All Cumberland County-sponsored professional development activities are canceled under the following conditions:

• When school is closed for students and staff
• When school opening is delayed
• When school is closed early for students

If the canceled professional development activity is one of several meetings, the class will resume on the next scheduled date and any rescheduling details will be shared by the presenter at that time.

If the canceled professional development activity meets for only that date, the information will be sent from the department sponsoring the activity with the rescheduling information.
