2025-2026 Cumberland County Schools’ Choice Program Application Information 

The Choice application period for the 2025-2026 school year will begin on November 18, 2024, and end on January 3, 2025. The Choice Program application can be accessed via the Family Dashboard.

 Application Help Sessions

If you need help submitting an application, please call 910-678-2450 to set up a time to receive individual assistance virtually.  Virtual Application Help Sessions will be conducted throughout the application period by appointment.

Choice Program Renewals

Students currently assigned to a Choice Program will remain assigned to that school unless a Choice Program Exit Intent Form is completed and submitted to the Student Assignment Office. Forms will be mailed to parents. Completed forms must be received at the Student Assignment Office if you no longer wish for your child to remain in their current Choice Program assignment.

Residency and Choice Program Enrollment 

To attend a Cumberland County school, the student must reside in Cumberland County with a parent or court-appointed custodian. Once a parent/legal custodian makes the commitment to enroll a student in a Choice Program, the parent/legal custodian will not be able to transfer the student to another school during the school year.  For additional information, contact the Office of Student Assignment @ 910-678-2616.
