My name is Ms. Emily Richards and I am the Assistant Principal, here at Elizabeth Cashwell Elementary School.  It is such a great honor and privilege to be able to serve the Cashwell Cub Community! I am a proud product of Cumberland County Schools and graduated from Reid Ross Classical High School!  I attended Fayetteville State University and earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Middle Grades Education and a Masters of Education degree in Reading. In 2022, I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Masters degree in School Administration where I was a member of the North Carolina Educational Leaders program. I taught 7th Grade E.L.A. at Gray's Creek Middle School and 3rd and 4th grades at Long Hill Elementary School and completed my principal residency at Spring Lake Middle School and was previously the assistant principal at Lewis Chapel Middle School. I truly believe "teamwork makes the dreamwork" and through active collaboration, involving ALL stakeholders, anything is possible!
