A Letter from the Principal
Greetings Parents/Guardians,
I would like to start off by welcoming you to the 2024-2025 academic school year. My name is David Greene, and I am the Principal of Anne Chesnutt Middle School. My staff and I are passionate about our students and the educational opportunities we provide here at The HIVE. Through dedicated partnerships with our stakeholders, we can continue our mission to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging, and supportive school experience. As a parent, I recognize the importance of a strong home-to-school connection, and believe that when all stakeholders do their part together, we can meet the needs of our students.
Vision:
Our Vision at the Hive is to help our students grow both academically and socially in a global community through Accountability, Compassion, Motivation, and Synergy.
Mission:
Our Mission is to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment that empowers all students to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally through engaging and innovative teaching. We strive to inspire a love for learning, critical thinking, and a thirst for knowledge.
For the 23-24 school year, ACMS strived to provide students with a safe and supporting environment, the best educational opportunities available, and to maintain a clean and organized school. This year, we will be challenging our students to strive for growth in the areas of academics and positive behavior while we continue to strengthen our commitment to communication with all stakeholders. We will need the support of our parents/guardians to reinforce the purpose behind public education and what it is that you want your child to accomplish at the conclusion of their time at Anne Chesnutt Middle School.
On behalf of all our staff, I would like to extend to each of our students and their parents/guardians a very warm welcome. We believe that great schools are the result of building and maintaining a strong culture of support, communication, and collaboration among all stakeholders. We are very excited about the 2024-2025 school year and look forward to helping your child succeed.
I wish all of our students, families, staff, and community members a very successful 2024-2025 school year!
Sincerely
David Greene-Principal
