  • Warrenwood Battle of the Books

The purpose of the Battle of the Books program is to encourage and foster a lifelong love of reading.  Our students are exposed to quality literature representing a variety of literary styles and viewpoints by prominent authors in the area of youth literature.  The students read and study the selected books in preparation to compete in a quiz bowl game format that creates interest and excitement in reading.  Through the exhilaration of the competition, students improve reading skills and acquire a broader knowledge base.
