Students from grades K-12 will have 24-7 access to live tutoring services to provide support with daily classroom instruction. Students can access live, on-demand academic help, and state-aligned skills building lessons from expert tutors. Tutors and students communicate in real-time through a chat feature in an online classroom by typing, drawing, and marking-up lessons and web content. To access, you may visit the Cumberland@Home site.
CUMBERLAND@HOMELIVE: Grades 6-8 (Available on December 1, 2020)
Cumberland@home Live is a virtual math tutoring service designed to support the academic needs of middle school math students outside of traditional school hours. Students can speak with a CCS math educator on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm via Webex to seek assistance with math content. This additional support is provided to maximize student learning in math and supplement the remote learning experience. This service does not replace a math teacher’s instructional time or office hours. It is intended to serve as an extension of academic support provided for all secondary math students in CCS. Students can access math tutors by completing the sign-up form.
