The educational audiologist provides various services to the students, teachers, and parents of Cumberland County Schools.  These services include:Identification of hearing loss through mass hearing screening of kindergarten students, hearing screenings for students being referred for EC services and hearing screenings provided to students as needed.

The audiologist is responsible for training and supervision of staff members who conduct hearing screenings.Comprehensive assessments of hearing and auditory processing disorders.  The audiologist also provides interpretation of the assessments results as well as makes recommendations that are appropriate for the student.Educational management of hearing loss by recommending methods of improving classroom acoustics and providing/monitoring hearing assistance technology.
