• North Carolina High School Athletic Association and Cumberland County Schools Middle School sports calendar have been approved, however, the schedule is subject to change per Governor and North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services guidelines.

Spectators will be limited to home team parents and guardians. Indoor sports will be limited to 25 and outside to 100 per the current executive order of the Governor. Exceptions may be made when a facility does not allow the space to properly social distance.  These numbers are subject to change based on orders of the Governor or NCDHHS.

Live streaming will be made possible for sports that are conducive to videoing.

Parents and guardians who attend events will get codes from their coach or athletic director of their schools in order to purchase their tickets. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Everyone that attends an athletic event must be screened and their temperature taken before entering any CCS athletic facilities and events. Masks must be worn properly at all times by spectators, officials, coaches, and athletes that play or practice indoors.

All protocols established by the NCHSAA Sports Medicine Committee and approved by NCDHHS can be followed. These general protocols and sports specific protocols can be found on the NCHSAA website by searching for the 2020-21 NCHSAA Modified Sports Manual.
